Combustion Turbine Project

MPPA's first wholly built, financed, owned and operated project.  The five participating member cities are:

    Charlevoix
    Harbor Springs
    Lowell
    Petoskey
    Traverse City

This plant is mainly used as a peaking unit for the Power Pool.  It has a nomial rating of 50MW, and is currently licensed to operate 1000 hours a year.
