SUMMARY:MPPA Board of Commissioners Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Michigan Public Power Agency’s Board of Commissioners Mee
 tings are conducted under the Open Meetings Act of the State of Michigan.\
 n\nPursuant to MCL15.263a(1)(f)\, MPPA is authorized to conduct meetings o
 f its Board of Commissioners under any circumstances. For the meeting post
 ed\, the Board of Commissioners will hold the meeting electronically\, whi
 ch will enhance participation of its members who are located throughout th
 e State and allow for increased participation by significantly reducing tr
 avel time and travel costs—while at the same time allowing for full publ
 ic participation. Members of the public who wish to attend the meeting may
  click on the link to attend remotely.\n\nPublic Participation\nMembers of
  the public\, whether or not they are joining the public meeting\, may sub
 mit written comments and questions regarding any matter\, including items 
 of business that will come before the Board of Commissioners. Written comm
 ents and questions may be submitted at any time. Those submitted prior to 
 the public comment portion of the agenda will be read aloud during the pub
 lic comment section of the agenda. The Board of Commissioners reserves the
  right to summarize long written comments and questions rather than readin
 g them aloud but will provide Commissioners with the full text of these co
 mments prior to the meeting.\n\nTo be considered for inclusion in the agen
 da or read aloud during the meeting\, public comments and questions must i
 nclude the full name and home address of the person submitting them and mu
 st not include language that would be considered vulgar or be interpreted 
 as hate speech or fighting words. The comments and questions should also i
 ndicate the date of the public meeting for which they are being submitted.

 ss no less than 5 business days prior to the scheduled public meeting to w
 hich they relate.\n\nAmericans with Disabilities Act Accommodations\nMPPA 
 will provide necessary\, reasonable accommodations for those with disabili
 ties who wish to attend a meeting after being provided notice in advance.
