Standard and Poor’s Ratings

MPPA’s Belle River Project has been reviewed by respected credit rating agency, Standard and Poor’s (S&P), to provide independent verification of creditworthiness.

S&P credit ratings are developed to offer comparative rankings of creditworthiness. They are assigned using transparent methodologies, which are freely accessible on their website. These methodologies are calibrated with stress scenarios and their Credit Stability Criteria to ensure rating comparability across sectors and over time. Each rating undergoes a stringent independent validation process.
